Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a modern educational facility in the centre of North Rhine-Westphalia’s capital city. It offers its students innovative courses at bachelor and master level, with teaching focused on professional practice, and research with close ties to business and industry. The new modern campus, completed just a few years ago, with modern facilities to match, provides a friendly and intercultural learning environment.

Research

Traditionally, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is also an expert research and development partner for regional, national and international public institutions and companies, carrying out large numbers of projects, including interdisciplinary projects. The university also cooperates with numerous industry organisations, social and cultural institutions and stakeholders in society from professional practice, academia and research. These activities have given rise to the university’s key topics and fields of expertise in the areas of energy and the environment, age-appropriate living, 3D design, communication and media, sound and vibration engineering, automation of technical processes and also social inclusion and political participation. A string of cooperation arrangements has also been in place for many years now with a range of universities, offering graduates the opportunity for cooperative doctoral training.
