The Brandenburg Medical School Theodor-Fontane is a government-accredited university operated on a not-for-profit basis in association with regional partners. The school is known for its innovative teaching concepts and the integration of research, teaching and patient care. With its three university clinics – the Ruppin clinics, the Brandenburg City Clinic and Immanuel Clinic Bernau – the Cardiac Center Brandenburg and currently over 20 cooperating clinics and 70 teaching practices, the school draws on a pool of scientifically based and practice-oriented expertise to educate a new generation of doctors and psychologists.
