The HMKW University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management educates media-savvy young people in the fields of design, journalism and communication, psychology and business/management. Its practice-oriented curriculum enables students to gather experience during their courses; practical placement components and projects will prove valuable when students start out in their professions and working life. The combination of interdisciplinary and subject-specific material is also designed along the lines of a generalist education in order to equip students to understand and use interdisciplinary relationships, to develop the so-called soft skills and, overall, to acquire broad foundation knowledge.
