Research & Development
HSW provides ideal conditions for practice-based research and innovative development. Thanks to close links between science, teaching and practice, the university is in constant dialogue with organisations in industry, government and administration as well as with educational, research and cultural institutions. Along with an Institute for Personnel Development and Lifelong Learning at HSW, there is also an Institute for Knowledge Management and an Institute for Efficient Energy Systems. Other core research areas at HSW are the development of innovative teaching and learning scenarios, financial market analysis and multi-project management. The interdisciplinary “project study” is a highlight of the course. This is a form of management consulting by students with exceptional potential.
