Sustainable and resource-efficient

The focus of Hof University's four research institutes is on information systems, materials science, water and energy management, and biopolymers. In addition, the Fraunhofer Application Center Textile Fiber Ceramics TFK is located at the Münchberg campus and develops new applications for the aerospace and automotive industries, among others. A Makerspace as well as the start-up center Einstein 1 complete the Green Tech Campus Hof. Applied research at Hof University of Applied Sciences ensures the updating of knowledge for teaching and develops solutions for the benefit of the economy. The Bavarian-Indian Center for Business and University Cooperation (BayIND), which is affiliated with Hof University, also coordinates and promotes cooperation between Bavaria and India.
