The business school actively shapes the interface between theory and practice together with over 120 leading business organisations in Germany and the world, with which students make important contacts even during their studies. Students receive practice-oriented training and extensive advice from the school’s career service, as well as support to start out in their career.
The ESCP Europe Berlin is government-certified as a university of applied sciences and is the first university In Germany to have been certified by all three major international accreditation agencies – AACSB, EFMD (EQUIS) and AMBA. Its success is also reflected in rankings: ESCP Europe regularly occupies top places in the FT European Business School Rankings.
Core research areas
In addition to classic business administration course content such as finance, marketing or strategy, students also gain an understanding of the topic of management in an interdisciplinary approach through courses such as creativity techniques, entrepreneurship and innovation. Corporate Social Responsibility and aspects of management with relevance to social policy are also central themes on the study agenda. In addition, ESCP Europe Berlin has been entitled to confer doctoral degrees since 2003 and offers a European doctoral degree in International Management.
