Quick profile*

The Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Münster is the church- and government-accredited university of applied sciences of the German Capuchin order. What sets our university apart is its “theology of spirituality”. The Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule is perfectly suited to those who wish to explore the relationship of the individual with God, both as practised historically and today. True to the Franciscan tradition, our research and teaching is based on experience and dialogue, and is both critical and creative.  Our manageable student numbers also encourage contact between fellow students, and between students and teaching staff, making communication simpler and more personal.

Research

After students complete the Licentiate degree, they have the opportunity of undertaking a doctorate in Theology of Spirituality in cooperation with the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome.
