Research strengths
THI's strong focus on current practice is also exemplified by its research: the Center for Applied Research (IAF) and numerous partners from related industries, the Center of Automotive Research on Integrated Safety Systems and Measurement Area CARISSMA, which is being consolidated into a centre of research on vehicle safety in Germany, ensure excellent conditions for teaching and researching on campus. THI graduates are offered opportunities to participate in research projects as research assistants and to complete doctoral training in cooperation with universities.
