Research

Research is an integral part of the development of the ASH Berlin. Applied research is aimed at developing, or providing scientific guidance for, new services in social, health-related and educational practice. At the same time, it is indispensable to the currency of theory and further education.

In the context of mutual transfer between university and practice, activities primarily focus on implementing new practical approaches, procedures or solutions developed through close ties between practice development and academic reflection.
The ASH Berlin is also one of the founding institutes in the cross-university Institute for Applied Research (IFAF Berlin).
