RheinMain University of Applied Sciences

The Faculties of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Design – Computer Science – Media, Social Work and Wiesbaden Business School located in Wiesbaden and also the Faculty of Engineering in Rüsselsheim offer a wide variety of bachelor’s and master’s degree courses. RheinMain University of Applied Sciences is open to the world, with a large number of international contacts and partner universities on every continent, including 80 European partner universities.

Core research areas and doctoral opportunities

The three main areas of research that define the university's profile are ”Engineering 4.0”, “Smart Systems for Man and Technology” and “Professionalism in Social Work”. It is also possible to undertake a doctorate at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences; since 2017, RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, together with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Fulda University of Applied Sciences, has been entitled to confer doctorates in Social Work. In the future, the right to award doctorates will be exercised through an inter-university doctoral training centre based in Wiesbaden. Two doctoral programmes will also be run jointly with the Goethe University Frankfurt.
