Quick profile*
A lush green campus with everything close, a family atmosphere, many different courses to choose from, international flair … that's student life at Trier University.
Travelling kilometres just to get the next lecture? Not something the university’s 14,000 or so students are familiar with. Trier is a typical campus university. The university is set within an extensive park on an elevated site overlooking the Moselle Valley. Its lecture theatres, laboratories, sports grounds, accommodation and services are connected by the Forum, a central space between the canteen and the library. Buses depart the city centre for the university at regular intervals. A semester ticket for bus and rail is included in the semester fees, and is valid for destinations including Saarbrücken and Koblenz.
