TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences shapes social innovation. TH Köln, founded in 1971 as the Fachhochschule Köln, is one of the nation's pioneers in the development and design of new concepts for teaching and learning. Applied research

Our research focuses on future issues such as climate change, energy supply, food security and demographic change. Researchers bring their specialist knowledge into play in interdisciplinary teams, developing solutions and shaping the critical questions of our time. This involves close collaboration with local, national and international partners, including around 340 universities abroad. TH Köln promotes the interchange of ideas with various stakeholders and contributes its expertise to social debate.
