It forms the foundation of our success in research, with one of the highest ratios of third-party funding in universities of applied sciences. Münster University of Applied Sciences received system accreditation in 2011 as the very first university of applied sciences in the Federal Republic. Our quality management and processes for exchanging ideas with those working in the field have been recognised with a number of awards, including from the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany (Stifterverband).
