Bergische Universität Wuppertal is a young, dynamic university situated in one of the greenest major cities in Germany. It offers a wide variety of academic disciplines, including some – safety engineering, for example – not offered by any other university in Germany. Research for business and society

Our research projects and initiatives are both fascinating and diverse: researchers at Bergische Universität Wuppertal are investigating climate change in the Arctic, improving products and production processes and hot on the trail of the Big Bang at CERN. They examine society and its development, conduct research on economies and renewable energy, explore types and functions of communication as well as options for text archiving and editing for the digital future. Various university services provide support for submitting proposals, coordinating and processing research projects and also career development for doctoral candidates and post-docs.
