Berlin School of Economics and Law is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Berlin. It has a reputation for its strong relevance to practice, its in-depth and multifaceted research, its high quality standards and strong international outlook. The portfolio of courses includes private and public business, administrative, legal and security management and also engineering sciences. Its international perspective is an integral component of the university's philosophy, and a defining feature of study and research there. We maintain a very large number of active partnerships with universities on almost every continent.

Research

Berlin School of Economics and Law is distinguished by its wide-ranging applied research. Research is conducted in five departments, two central institutes, seven internal research institutes and five affiliated institutes on topics in economics and social sciences, administration, engineering sciences and law. A multidisciplinary approach fosters the development of joint research areas. The university also supports specific research activities with internal research funding. The Berlin School of Economics and Law is also a member of the Institute for Applied Research (IFAF Berlin).
