Overcoming boundaries
The reputation of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg as one of the leading research universities with interdisciplinary structures stems from the application of scientific diversity to develop exceptional papers and unusual research projects. Particular highlights are the Engineering of Advanced Materials (EAM) Cluster of Excellence and also the university's interdisciplinary Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies (SAOT).
